Paws, Play, Repeat: My Shih Tzus’ Secret to Happiness!

Hi, I’m Ambe, and I’m a proud long-distance dog sister to four adorable Shih Tzus, each with their own unique personality. Let me introduce you to Momo, Mimi, Imli, and Kaju. Despite being miles away, these furballs never fail to brighten my life with their antics and love.

Momo, the oldest, is my cuddle buddy. He’s a lovable and possessive little guy who insists on tucking in with me at night, staying perfectly still like a little mummy. Mimi, the second oldest, is the feisty one—an emotional little gangster who’s always laser-focused on getting treats. Imli, the playful daughter of Momo and Mimi, is a fierce fighter (especially when it comes to vying for my attention). Her superpower? She can argue for hours to get more love! And then there’s Kaju, the calm and peaceful one, who happily follows the herd, living for food and the occasional cuddle session.

Each one of these pups has taught me so much about love, patience, and living in the moment. Their ability to stay present, whether they’re playing, lounging in the sun, or enjoying a quiet moment by my side, reminds me to appreciate life’s small, everyday joys.

This blog, Paw-sitive Presence, is a tribute to the mindfulness my dogs have brought into my life. I’ll be sharing stories about how dogs can teach us to be more present, help us understand non-verbal communication, and even master the art of doing nothing. Whether it's their playful nature or calming presence, these four-legged companions work wonders for our mental health, easing stress and anxiety while motivating us to stay active.

In a world that's often chaotic, having a dog by your side encourages mindfulness and deeper connections, making them not just pets but essential wellness partners. Discovering the profound bond between dogs and humans can truly redefine our lives, promoting happiness and a more fulfilling lifestyle.

If you’re a dog lover or simply someone who wants to learn about how pets can enhance our mental well-being, you’re in the right place!
